subscribe to several coupon match-up blogs/web pages on FB to get my coupons together BEFORE heading out to each respective store....time spent on clipping coupons = $ saved :)
ReplyDeleteMy money saving tip is to watch these wonderful blogs and snatch up good deals :) My girls Christmas was twice as nice this year because of coupons and special online deals.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite money saving tip is just a very simple one- using coupons! Even if you aren't using them to stock up on crazy deals at CVS (which I also do), just plain old coupons save so much!

Just became a follower as well :)
ReplyDeleteMy new favourite money-saver is Groupon! They offer deals that I'll actually use. I've gotten 1/2 off at my favourite local co-op as well as tickets to the museum/zoo, and DH has enjoyed lunch at several local restaurants. I'm just waiting for our area to get one of the 75% discounts at a furniture store!

ReplyDeleteMy money saving tip is to dilute liquid dish detergent and place it in a foaming dispenser, like the Dawn foaming bottle. Just mix 2 parts water to one part liquid dish soap. It works just as well as the Dawn Foaming but costs a lot less. You can also do the same thing with hand soaps as long as you use a foaming dispenser.
ReplyDeleteI like to shop the sales with coupons and it is even better when you shop like that where they give you store money back, like Cvs and Walgreens.
ReplyDeleteI blogged about the giveaway

I love to compare prices before I make a purchase. When shopping for Christmas I learned never to just buy for convienence. I was buying several DVD box sets and compared prices for huge savings. Then I went to the most convenient location which would price match....saved me tons of money!!!

my fav moola tip is putting (after budgeting and paying necessary expenses) a good percent of total income away into ones savings. that way not all gets spent on splurging even if its for cheap coupon items- we all know it adds up fast!
ReplyDeleteMy money saving tip is to read lots of blogs and take all the good tips and applied them. also to get coupons in recycle, an many more.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite money saving tip is to ALWAYS have a plan at the grocery store. It's okay if you get some items outside of your plan if it's a GREAT deal, but going with a plan and knowing what you want really DOES save time!
ReplyDeleteMy money saving tip is coupons!!

I buy clothing for me and my kids second hand, rarely buy shelf-stable foods w/o coupon-sale matchups and use white vinegar, etc. to clean instead of toxic/expensive cleaners.

My favorite way to spend money is to not spend money! Haha, no, but really! I record every penny I spend in an excel spreadsheet that categorizes and calculates my spending (yes, it took me a while to make the spreadsheet!). Because I literally have to sit down at my computer and enter in all of my spending transactions (which is a pain) it prevents me from doing things like stopping for a snack or "running in the store for a soda" and those are the little things that add up!
