Dial Holiday Foaming Hand Wash

As a Purex Insider, I received two bottles of the Dial Foaming Hand Wash in the new decorative holiday bottles to review just before Christmas.  I must say I love the Dial brand :)

I am a fanatic about hand washing which is especially important this time of the year... as a matter of fact during Christmas the flu hit hard in my area and you know what they say "hand washing is the best prevention."

I absolutely loved the holiday bottles.  I was sent the snowman and the peppermint bottles.  I placed one in the main bathroom and the other in the kitchen.  They added a playful/cheerful atmosphere to the season.

20-Mule Team Borax Review & Giveaway

I received a box of 20 Mule Team Borax detergent booster today just in time for laundry day.  I was very excited about reviewing this product as I've never tried it before.  Let me tell you .... this product is fabulous!!

20 Mule Team Borax is 100% natural mineral from the earth.  Once removed from the ground it is washed, dried, and boxed for consumers.  Borax (sodium tetraborate) is a naturally occurring substance produced by the perpetual evaporation of seasonal lakes.  Absolutely NOTHING is added!  Borax naturally softens hard water which over 85% of homes hae.  Hard water contains calcium and magnesium.  When you add detergent to hard water, some of the compounds attach to calcium and magnesium granules that settle on the bottom of the washing machine and eventually retreat down the drain without cleaning your clothes which is a waste of detergent.  By adding 1/2 cup of Borax to every load, along with your regular PUREX detergent you will find that it improves your laundry deterents cleaning power and helps keep stains from being re-deposited back into clothes.  

I myself have three kids, two basketball players and a cheerleader/dancer, which means I have tons of smelly, sweat stained laundry.  After adding Borax to my laundry loads today, I am thrilled to say I am so impressed.  My clothes came out stain free, clean, and soft.  I will definitely be using Borax as part of my regular laundry from now on.

Oh Baby! Purex Ultra for babies :)

I received a bottle of Ultra Purex Baby detergeant to review from purexinsiders.  I have to say that even though I don't have a baby in the house, I do have a daughter with very sensitive skin so I was thrilled to be able to try this new product.  

I found that it did a terrific job in cleaning her clothes.  I even used a little to treat a stain spot and it came out perfectly.  I highly recommend this product to any new mom or someone who needs to be careful with skin sentivities.
